Karnataka Chief Minister inagurates Sabha Bhavan & offers Pooja & HH Governer pays visit

On 21st Aug 2004 The Governor of Karnataka visited the temple.He is being shown the Golden Sword presented by late leader Sri.M.G.Ramachandran The Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri.Dharma Singh inaugurated the 1.55 Crore Mookambka Sabha Bhavan at kollur on 8th Aug 2004. On 9th Aug he performed the  ‘Chandika Homa’ and also witnessed the making of 3.5 Crore GOLDEN CHARRIOT.

The Golden Charriot

Year 2004 been the new begining in the the devlopment of the varied needs of the devine Temple.. The Adiminstrative Dharma Darshi Mr.B.EM Sukumar Shetty and his team of Dharmadharsi’s namely Mohanchandra, Mahabla Hakladi, Manjunath Bhet Upralli, Vadamballi Jayaram Shetty and Chief Preist Sriddhar Adiga,Kshetra Purohit Raveendra,Narashimha Bhat, Suresh Kalidas and slo Temple superintendent Narshima Adia joined the dharmik programme to consruct a pure Gold Charriot fro the Templs. This is happening for the first tiem in hostory of Karnataka State costing Rs.3.50Crores and 50 Kg of Pure Gold . This happened on 14th July 2004

The  Shilpi Prabhakar Acharya and brothers started the dharmik programme  by offering the 18.5 24 Ct Gold to Goddess Devi with a prayer of Lord Ganesh. The gold reuwired for the first round will be kept under security inside the temple. By Sept 2004  a glittering 10 1/2 ft GOLDEN CHARIOT will be ready and will be offered to the Goddess with very special dharmik poojas during MAHA NAVAMI in Oct, 2004 at the august presence of more than a Lakh devotees. Tamil Nadu’s Ms.JRT group’s Ji.R. Thangamalige has provided the Gold sheets and total of 8 Shilpi’s are working on the building of this unique Chariot
